You did it! You helped us reach our Winter Appeal fundraising goal of $45,000!
WE ARE OVER THE MOON! THANK YOU for supporting us and our work at Shaking the Tree! Helping us fund the gap we were facing means some exciting things for Shaking the Tree! It means that we can present two fully staged productions in 2025, as well as our Summer Festival and our Winter Open Space Residencies. Our production of The Antipodes by Annie Baker opens in February 2025. Our original/devised production Dancing on the Sabbath will run in the fall of 2025 and it is currently in the development phase. We are so excited to share it with you! If you'd still like to make a tax-deductible donation, all funds raised will go directly to the artists who will work on that production with us. The more funds we raise, the more artists we can hire.
Would you like to keep us stocked with general supplies or help us purchase props? This is the perfect way for you to support Shaking the Tree! For our next show, The Antipodes, we need a large pile of seltzer water, which we will sell as concessions after the show closes, so you gift will have double the impact.
Here's why donors choose to support Shaking the Tree
"Shaking the Tree productions are well done in every way, but if I had to pick my favorite aspect of them, it would be the astoundingly innovative set designs and set pieces. The stage space has been configured in so many different ways and set pieces are always transforming into new uses within a single production. The blocking is consistently fantastic and seems to fully explore the available options of any given configuration. It is truly a joy to watch such masterfully-crafted work!" "Creating some of the most in creative and innovative performance art I’ve ever seen!"
