Christian Gutierrez
Christian Gutierrez switched coasts back in 2020, and has only recently gotten back into what he resonates with: performance. A New Jersey transplant that graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Theatre, and spent his post-grad apprenticing with the rebellious Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. This past summer he worked with Salt and Sage on their production of the Henriad, and previously was a mentee with Third Rail Repertory. He’s excited and curious to explore new forms of storytelling and communication that break past the boundaries of language. |
Netty Mckenzie
Netty McKenzie is a singer/actor born and raised in Portland Oregon. Netty was last seen in At The Root (Portland Revels), Last Stop on Market Street (Oregon Children’s Theater), and Matilda the Musical (Portland Playhouse) She is a graduate of Portland State University where she received a B.S. in Theater Arts. When she is not performing, Netty is a Mama of two toddlers and manages an after school program for elementary school students called SUN( schools uniting neighborhoods). Caitlin Nolan
Caitlin Nolan (she/her) is an actor, playwright, and associate producer of Stage Fright, Portland’s one and only queer horror theater festival. Onstage she has appeared with companies including Salt & Sage, Portland Actors Ensemble, Northwest Classical Theater Collaborative, and Shaking the Tree. Her written work includes the original plays FORK TENDER and DEAD TO ME; the adapted solo show JANE CLEAVER'S BITCH IN KITCHEN, co-created with Bobby Bermea and Jamie Rea; and the augmented reality game RE: LILITH LOPEZ, co-created with Mishelle Apalategui for the 2021 Fertile Ground Festival. Recent onstage credits include Jenna in DOWNWARD FACING, Mistress Quickly/Exeter/Hastings in Salt & Sage's HENRIAD, and Teresa in THE SLUAGH at Chapel Theatre. In her offstage time, Caitlin is a student in the prose cohort of the Independent Publishing Resource Center's portfolio program. |
Jamie Rea (Member of Actors' Equity)
A renaissance woman of the theatre and a proud member of Actor's Equity, Jamie has had the pleasure of exploring this powerful tool for connection and change for over 20 years. Whether devising street theatre with Grotest Maru in Berlin, dancing with Kiwi sisters at The Body Festival in New Zealand, or stilt-walking through the CAFF summer season in Canada, she loves cross-cultural collaboration through physical expression. Favorite local roles include: Drusilla (Dracula – Portland Center Stage), Halina (Indecent -Artists Repertory Theatre/Profile Theatre), Olympe DeGouges (The Revolutionists) and Jack Worthing (The Importance of Being Earnest - Artist Repertory Theatre), Amy (In the Wake) and Dawn (The Secretaries - Profile Theatre), Macbeth (Macbeth) & Kristine (Drammy award, Best Supporting Actress) in A Doll’s House (Shaking the Tree Theatre), Anna (Drammy Finalist, Best Actress) in The Snowstorm (CoHo & Many Hats Productions), Mary Shelley in Bloody Poetry (NW Classical Theatre Co), Gabriella in References to Salvador Dali make me hot (Milagro). She is a 20 year ensemble member with Sojourn Theatre, co-founding Artistic Director of the Beirut Wedding World Theatre Project, and can be seen in the Spring in Portland Center Stage’s world premiere adaptation of The Importance of Being Earnest. |
Paul Susi
Paul Susi is a theater artist, an educator, a writer, social services professional, and an activist, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. As an actor, he has appeared onstage with Salt and Sage, NW Classical Theatre Collaborative, Anon It Moves / String House, Shaking the Tree Studios, Push Leg, The Forgery, Island Stage Left in the San Juans, WA, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Vermont Stage Company, Teatro Solo/Boom Arts, as well as in self-produced, original work. Paul has served on the Boards of Directors for numerous cultural nonprofits, including Streetbooks and Cerimon House, and as Co-Chair of the Multnomah County Cultural Coalition, and as Executive Director of Portland Actors Ensemble / Shakespeare in the Parks. He has received several Project-Based Grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council and the Multnomah County Culture Coalition, and an Artist’s Residency at Caldera Arts. In 2018, the Regional Arts and Culture Council honored Paul for outstanding contributions to local theater and culture.For five years, Paul specialized in managing new emergency homeless shelters for Transition Projects, with experience in opening and / or closing 6 different shelter programs during that time. Paul currently serves as a Conversation Project Facilitator for Oregon Humanities, and as Community Health Educator for Portland Street Medicine. R David Wyllie
R David Wyllie is a former computer hacker, who one fateful day discovered that reality is an illusion created by sentient machines to subdue humanity. Led by some new friends named Morpheus and Trinity, R David joined a rebellion to free humanity from this simulated reality wherein most humans live unknowingly as energy sources for the machines. Several mind-bending battles later, all was well and humanity was freed....or were they? |
Bobby Bermea (Director)
Bobby Bermea is the co-artistic director of The Beirut Wedding World Theatre Project, a 20 year member of Sojourn Theatre, and a long-standing member of Actors Equity Association. Bermea is a writer, director and award-winning actor and has appeared in theatres literally from New York, NY to Honolulu, HI. As a director, Bermea has recently helmed productions of My Soul Grown Deep and The Green Book with BaseRoots Theatre, Hollow Roots with BoomArts, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents with Theatre Vertigo, Wait Until Dark at Northwest Classical Theatre (Drammy Award Nomination for Outstanding Director), Fires in the Mirror and Blue Door, Welcome to Arroyos at Profile Theatre and Top Dog/Underdog at Street Scenes. Bermea has also done extensive work with youth and especially marginalized populations, having worked through the Actors-to-Go at Artists Repertory Theatre, Higher Stages with Tears of Joy, the Haven Project, Playwrite, Inc., Young Audiences, Portland Youth Builders, the Cordero House. |
Emily Hogan (Stage Manager)
EMILY HOGAN is a middle child and a double-Sagittarius. A transplant from Lompoc, CA, Emily studied theater at the University of Portland, focusing on dramaturgy and performance. Emily has performed with Shaking the Tree, Portland Revels, Hand2Mouth, and Milagro. Primarily, Emily works as a stage manager, managing Forbidden Fruit, Fucking A, MODELMINORITY, Chick Fight, and serving as ASM for Family at Shaking the Tree. Emily has also been a dramaturg on numerous productions, such as In A Different Reality She’s Clawing At The Walls (Shaking the Tree), i defy you, stars (Do It For Mead), and The Killing Fields (Orphic). Emily was also able to serve as a teaching artist for Hand2Mouth and Milagro, and is a current Hand2Mouth Company Member. |
